The newest addition to the dining and entertainment options in the Fountain Square Theatre Building is the Smokehouse on Shelby. With a menu created by Chef Matt Schwartz, who also oversees the shelBi street caFe & Bistro and catering for the Fountain Square Theatre, the highlight of the Smokehouse menu is Chef Schwartz’s hickory smoked St Louis Style Ribs. Dry rubbed and served with a spicy Chipotle BBQ sauce or a sweet BBQ sauce, these meaty yet tender ribs will have you coming back for more.

Begin your meal with a selection of appetizers; try the sampler platter with Wings, Ribs, and Beer Battered Onion Rings or Potato Skins; homemade Chili or Soup of the Day, or a Salad with house made dressings. The menu includes a variety of sandwiches, Pulled Pork cooked low and slow for maximum flavor, the hand pattied Fountain Burger or a Jumbo Tenderloin, as well as entrees like the Full Slab of Ribs or an Apple Wood Smoked Half Chicken for the heartier appetite. Then if you dare, try the Triple Chocolate Cheesecake or a Turtle Nut Brownie Sundae for dessert.

Lunch Specials are offered Monday – Friday until 3pm with the full menu available Monday – Saturday at 10:30am and Sunday at Noon. We also offer a Kids Menu for our guests 10 & under. A selection of Beer, Wine and Cocktails are available. For entertainment, watch the games on the big screen TV’s or shoot pool on one of the two full size tables.

The Smokehouse on Shelby is open Monday – Thursday 10:30am – 9:00pm, Friday & Saturday 10:30am – 11:00pm and Sunday Noon – 9:00pm.
