Anchoring the corner of the Fountain Square Theatre Building is the Smokehouse on Shelby. With a menu created by Chef Matt Schwartz, who also oversees the shelBi street caFe & Bistro and catering for the Fountain Square Theatre, the highlight of the Smokehouse menu is Chef Schwartz’s hickory smoked St Louis Style Ribs. Dry rubbed and served with a spicy Chipotle BBQ sauce or a sweet BBQ sauce, these meaty yet tender ribs will have you coming back for more.

Begin your meal with a selection of appetizers; try the sampler platter with Wings, Ribs, and Beer Battered Onion Rings or Potato Skins; homemade Brisket Chili, Soup of the Day, or a Salad with house made dressings. The menu includes a variety of sandwiches, Pulled Pork, our most popular sandwich, is cooked low and slow for maximum flavor, the hand pattied Fountain Burger or a Jumbo Tenderloin, as well as entrees like the Sampler Platter or an Apple Wood Smoked Half Chicken for the heartier appetite. Then if you dare, try the Apple Pie a la Mode or a Turtle Nut Brownie Sundae for dessert. Lunch Specials are offered Monday – Friday until 3pm with the full menu available Monday – Saturday at 10:30am and Sunday at Noon. We also offer a Kids Menu for our guests 10 & under. A selection of Beer, Wine and Cocktails are available while watching the games on the big screen TV’s. Free wireless Internet service is available.
