Tucked away in a corner of the Fountain Square Theatre Building, the shelBi street caFe & Bistro's contemporary menu belies the buildings vintage image. The colorful décor and casual atmosphere are reflected in the menu offerings that include traditional breakfast items and Sunday Brunch, luncheon entrees, unique salads, sandwiches, gourmet pizzas and the addition of appetizers and entrees served on the dinner menu.

The colorful Gingham Salad, a mix of seasonal berries, mandarin oranges tossed with mixed greens, poppy seed vinaigrette and topped with toasted pecans and blue cheese crumbles is a guest favorite. The menu changes seasonally with new items added to enhance the list of signature items available all year.

The café serves breakfast 8:00am – 11:00am Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 11:00am Saturday and Sunday 9:00am – 1:30pm featuring a full menu of eggs, omelets, Belgian waffles and more with the addition of brunch items on Sunday. Lunch is served Monday & Tuesday 11:00am – 2:30pm, Wednesday – Saturday 11:00am – 5:00pm. Dinner hours are Wednesday – Saturday 5:00pm – 9:30pm.
